Ann-Marie Reader has practiced in all areas of employment law for companies and managers for more than 16 years, with extensive experience in employment litigation and assisting clients with their transactional employment needs. She began her career at Greenberg, Glusker, Fields Claman & Machtinger and then spent ten years in the Labor and Employment Law Department at Cox, Castle & Nicholson. She defends employers and managers against all types of employment claims filed in state and federal court and private arbitration. Ms. Reader has also conducted many successful mediations and arbitrations.
Ms. Reader was born in Lafayette, Indiana and grew up in California. After receiving a degree in Finance from Indiana University, she worked for several years at General Mills in Minneapolis, Minnesota before moving to Los Angeles in 1989 to attend USC Law School. She began her legal career in 1992 as an associate in Los Angeles, California. She is licensed to practice in both California and Colorado. When not practicing law, Ms. Reader is an avid reader, hiker, photographer, traveler, wine connoisseur, mother of Nick and Amanda and wife to patent attorney Scot Reader.
